Meeting place in rural environment

Simple closeness to nature

An old farmhouse was supplemented a few years ago by a new building for the owner on the same plot. The large meadow area between the two houses was to be used in the future and serve as a meeting place for the residents of both houses. A green oasis was created between the houses in the middle of the meadow. Curved gravel paths lead the two properties together and run to the common lounge, which invites to cozy get-togethers. Surrounded by lush herbaceous borders with flowering shrubs, the proximity to nature can be enjoyed.

A hedge as a privacy screen and three multi-stemmed specimen trees not only protect against glances, but are also an attractive design element in this rural garden. With the residential buildings behind, the view sweeps over the fruit trees and the landscape surrounding the property. Next to the cozy lounge area, a wellness area provides relaxing hours. Well hidden between shrubs, a wooden wall and a solitary grove, the whirlpool can be enjoyed undisturbed. The whirlpool, clad in wood, blends in harmoniously with the rural surroundings, which also feature a lot of wood. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape and feel like you are in the middle of nature.

Inviting entrance area

A simple planting of grasses, hydrangeas and flowering perennials enhances the entrance area of the builder. The specimen shrubs accompany the gravel path to the newly built house. A generous staircase leads down to the entrance and merges into seat-high walls. These limit and mark the forecourt of the house entrance and thus give it more weight. The little wall can be used for sitting or decorating the entrance to the house. A gravelled forecourt in the shade lends itself to a secluded seating area with a bistro table and two chairs. Immediately upon entering the property, the lovingly designed entrance area welcomes the builder as well as his guests.
