Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects
This garden has a very modern look, while at the same time it meets exactly the needs of the clientele. They wanted a low-maintenance garden, as they had a lot to do with a swimming pond before. The pool continues to be cleaned naturally without chemicals thanks to Living Pool technology. The overflow pool is perfect for water sports and the soundscape with gentle splashing is also retained for the clientele thanks to this design.
The swimming pool with overflow basin is central to this spectacular garden, as the water surface rests exactly at the level of the surroundings. The mix of tall hedges as privacy screens and soft grasses frame the outdoor living area.
More specimen shrubs provide shade and cast a wonderful pattern on the ground. The exciting mix of clean lines and playful planting go hand in hand to give the garden that distinctive atmosphere. The planting is constantly changing due to the different blooming seasons, so the view of the garden is always changing, magically drawing you outside.
The basin immediately catches the eye because it is perfectly flush with the floor. This effect is made possible by the construction of an overflow pool. Visually, the pool is a very special highlight in this garden, because this design means that the entire surface, including the water surface, is at exactly the same height. This seamless transition gives the garden a very coherent overall appearance. The overflow pool is not only visually the highlight in the garden: also acoustically the pool always remains present.
The water flowing over the edge creates a constant ripple, so that the soundscape continues to exist as in a swimming pond. Even when swimming, the waves slosh over the edge so that the water surface remains calm without the waves bouncing back at the edge. Since the pool is also popular for swimming sports, the overflow pool is also a visually very high-quality and at the same time useful solution for this.
The extension of the wooden deck increases the usable area enormously, so that the garden appears much more spacious than before. The change of decking elegantly divides the different areas of the garden. Under the plane tree, on hot summer days, there is a lounger in the shade where the garden can be enjoyed after cooling off in the water. The leafy cover makes the slightly elevated retreat look calm and natural. Perfect for the hot summer days.

In summer, the grasses shine in rich green, until the hydrangeas slowly begin to bloom and form a veritable sea of flowers behind the pool. In late summer to autumn, the grasses with their panicles turn into a wonderful sea of grasses.
