Wrapped by narrow planters, the inviting lounge is the center of this patio design. The grasses conceal the metal railing behind and a large parasol provides shade. While these long containers cover, the round planters accent certain areas of the patio. In addition, the light hues of the Atelier square planters provide a soft contrast to the rather dark floor tiles. Three large evergreen shrubs (osmanthus) support the creation of space and form a permeable privacy screen from the neighboring house. The bright, lush green of the planting is a mix of summer and evergreen plants, adding year-round variety and balancing the stone-heavy patio design.
