Calming ambience thanks to water basin

Unique water basin and light-coloured materials

The exceptionally long water basin attracts everyone’s attention and gives this garden a Mediterranean flair, which is rounded off by the two levels and light-coloured materials. The seating area in the upper part of the garden is paved with light-coloured slabs and surrounded by matching gravel. The neighbouring property is fenced off with glass walls, the mirroring of which creates a visual increase in space.

However, the long, narrow water basin remains the undisputed highlight of the garden. It looks like a polished block of stone overflowing with water. The five bubblers in the basin enliven the surface and serve as gargoyles. The end of this area is marked by three tall planters, which are shown to their best advantage thanks to the low height of the water basin.

Delicate transition to cosy wooden deck

The water basin in the upper garden area pours over a small waterfall into a stone basin on the lower level. It is bordered by a low stone wall, which can also be used as a seating area with a great view. Four diagonally arranged steps lead to the elegant wooden deck with a cosy seating area. The roof-shaped plane trees stretch out above, creating a cosy outdoor space to linger and enjoy.

Inviting and calming

The low differences in height give the garden an open and inviting feel. Light colours were chosen for all the materials, giving the garden a consistent, harmonious and relaxing setting with a Mediterranean flair. The fountain and the breathtaking view are emphasised even more by the light tones.
