Cool refreshment from the Living Pool

The new skimmer pool attracts visitors directly from the terrace with its deep blue colour. By means of the Living Pool technology the cool water is purified. The biofilter removes the vital phosphate from the algae, preventing their formation. This keeps the water crystal clear and invites you to splash around. At the same time, there is the advantage that no chemical additives are required — this is both more favourable in the long term and gentler on the skin and eyes.

Another beautiful addition to the Living Pool is the wide staircase that leads to the refreshment area. Due to its width, it radiates elegance and allows a comfortable ascent and descent. At the other end of the swimming pool is an underwater bench. Here you can relax in peace and enjoy your time in the pool.

Pergola for a shady spot

The swimming pool is framed by timeless natural stone slabs and merges into a wooden deck by the adjoining lounge. This radiates warmth, especially with the soft upholstered furniture. But the deck offers another advantage: the entire pool technology is hidden underneath and easily accessible if required. A pergola was erected to make the exposed location more pleasant. The louvred roof makes it easy and uncomplicated to regulate how much sunlight is required. On hot summer days in particular, the family can retreat from the sun and still enjoy time together outside.

Natural stone slabs for an elegant overall look

The elegant natural stone paving forms the transition between the house and the garden. Directly in front of the living room is a covered area, which is used as a sheltered dining area. The paving extends from the covered outdoor area around the entire pool to just before the pergola. This creates a harmonious transition between the outdoor and indoor areas.

Adjacent to the natural stone decking, a wooden deck provides a charming partition to the entrance and barbecue area. On the opposite side, the wooden deck is taken up again under the pergola. Behind it — around the corner of the house — is a spacious lawn area surrounded by a marvellous natural stone wall. The material is thus picked up again in the garden, creating an elegant overall look.

How natural stone, privacy screens and planting harmonise with each other

The entire family garden is surrounded by a wooden screen wall. To ensure a smooth transition to the wellness oasis behind it, the privacy screen was broken up by suitable planting. The lush green of the leaves is interspersed with small colourful flowers, such as verbena. They provide a particularly beautiful contrast to the various shrubs and grasses.

To pick up on the natural stone again, our client decided to add a small wall in the area of the side garden. This creates a further contrast alongside the wooden privacy screen and the lush planting.

All in all, a new outdoor living paradise for the whole family has been created here. The surroundings around the Living Pool offer a place to unwind. At the same time, the open-air living room is protected from prying eyes and is characterised by a sense of tranquillity thanks to the interplay of several elements.
