Modern terrace design
Wrapped in narrow planters, the inviting lounge is the centrepiece of this patio design. The grasses conceal the metal railings behind them and a large parasol provides shade. While these long planters provide cover, the round planters emphasise certain areas of the patio. In addition, the light colours of the Atelier square planters form a gentle contrast to the rather dark paving slabs. Three large, evergreen shrubs (osmanthus) support the creation of space and form a permeable privacy screen to the neighbouring house. The bright, lush green of the planting is a mix of deciduous and evergreen plants, providing variety throughout the year and balancing out the stone-heavy terrace design.
