A meeting place for Marc Sway

Last year, Swiss musician Marc Sway had his garden completely remodelled. The new garden was to be both a retreat and a meeting place for the young family. Throughout the entire project, the family’s personal needs took centre stage and were taken into account in the planning.

Not only was a pool to be added to the garden, but also a cosy dining and barbecue area as well as a lounge. The new outdoor living room was to become the family’s new centre of life and offer plenty of space.

The transformation of a garden with a lawn and hedge into an oasis of well-being with a swimming pool

The family’s original garden was rather unremarkable and consisted mainly of lawn and hedges. The intention was to create a garden that would serve the whole family and realise its full potential. Marc Sway and his family enjoy celebrating with their loved ones. Therefore, the entire garden area was to be made usable and offer plenty of space for cosy garden hours.

At the same time, the children wanted a pool where they could splash around and enjoy their free time with their friends. The personal oasis of well-being should convey a holiday feeling where the hectic pace of everyday life is forgotten.

The realisation of the conversion

Once all the wishes had been put on paper, the construction work could begin. Firstly, the old garden had to be cleared, which was a new experience for Marc Sway. But with the help of the initial visualisation, a picture of the finished garden had already been created. This allowed him and his family to visualise what the outdoor living room would look like in the future and look forward to reaching their goal.

The new garden offers the family everything they need to enjoy life. A living pool provides crystal-clear water and invites you to swim. Phosphate, which is vital for algae, is removed from the water using intelligent filtration. Thanks to the natural purification process, the water is particularly gentle on the skin and eyes and ensures a carefree bathing experience.

A wooden screen ensures privacy, while two gargoyles provide visual and acoustic highlights. The modern lounge invites you to linger and the wooden deck, under which the pool equipment is housed, creates a cosy atmosphere.

A meeting place

The family and their friends love to spend time together and the new garden offers enough space for everyone. A new barbecue area has been planned and walk-on areas have replaced the lawn. This has created additional space to linger. The varied planting rounds off the overall picture and creates a relaxed and playful ambience.

Overall, Marc Sway’s new garden is an inspiring project that shows how needs can be harmonised with aesthetics and functionality. The result is a garden that invites you to live and relax. The outdoor living room is a meeting place where family and friends can enjoy life together.
