This garden seating area is a particularly successful combination of aesthetics and utility. Where there was previously an uneven lawn, there is now a spacious and elegant seating area, which immediately increases the area of the garden many times over. The platform and the natural stone wall have created new heights that give the garden additional space. This is also achieved through the mix of wood and stone materials, making the seating area the centre of the garden. From the seating area, the view sweeps across the garden and out into the distance.

The breathtaking backdrop of the Alps remains undisturbed and makes the space the highlight of the garden. Lower walls were also planned to break up the space and also serve as a place to sit or lie down. If it gets too hot on the seating area, there is a cosy spot next door under the existing, overgrown pergola.
The embankment was extended using angled elements so that the lawn area can also be further enlarged. Where previously a lush hedge blocked the view and took up a lot of space, there is now a playful and elegant planting strip. It is precisely this planting that should be given a lot of attention. It gives the garden that certain something and brings it to life. The mixture of different grasses, perennials and deciduous shrubs perfectly complement the existing elements in the garden.
Details of the natural stone wall:
The garden before the remodelling
The embankment at the house was excavated and supplemented with the natural stone wall. The space gained as a result is enormous. The natural stone wall also creates a beautiful contrast to the house, which is broken up by the planting strip. The view of the house is also harmonious and inviting.
