Residential garden on upper Lake Zurich

Living garden with attention to detail

This very homely garden radiates a cozy, almost Nordic comfort and underlines the client's love of detail. The pool is not primarily designed for swimming, but invites you to relax and echoes the theme of the lounge. The wooden deck on which the lounge is placed playfully overlaps the pool area and is another element in the mix of materials. A great many materials have been used in this garden in a very small space: Gravel, brick, wood, paving slabs, wildly shaped slabs and paving - and yet everything harmonizes wonderfully with each other. The contrast between old and new is also remarkable and can be clearly seen throughout the design.

The English garden style

This residential garden was inspired by British garden design. The immaculate lawn is particularly striking and is known as a special feature of this style. At the same time, the feel-good oasis is romantic thanks to the lush planting. Evergreen hedges and natural stone walls were used to structure the outdoor space. Nevertheless, care was taken to ensure that the picturesque view into the distance was not disturbed. Although the garden was divided up in a very structured way, the different materials and plants create a playful harmony.

The stone figures are also typical of this garden style. The figures have been accentuated in this residential garden and provide an eye-catching feature. The water fountain is in the same style. The antique appearance gives the impression of having traveled back in time.
