Wellness oasis with swimming pond

Swimming pond with natural regeneration zone

The swimming pond of this private garden is not immediately obvious: it is located in the lower part of the garden and is accessible via the generous staircase with irregularly arranged steps. Evergreen shrubs, grasses and uniform perennials line the path along the stairs, creating a sense of lightness and naturally embedding the stone staircase into the overall picture. The separate swimming zone of the swimming pond invites you to swim next to water plants.

Multifaceted garden with lots of water

The different levels in this garden create exciting niches. The wooden deck at the top is broken up by irregular strips of paving stone, creating a warm atmosphere. Yew hedges wrap the garden seating area, creating homely privacy. The garden was designed around the two existing mature trees and therefore feels as if it has been there for decades.

The highlight of this level is a water basin with two cubic gargoyles, whose water seemingly pours out of the lush hydrangea blossoms. The element of water is also taken up on the lower garden level with the swimming pond. The grasses and a loose planting of perennials and shrubs separate the swimming pond and the property from the adjacent agricultural zone.
