Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects
The existing terrace of this terrace house apartment overlooking the lake was completely redesigned and supplemented with a pool. The rear terrace area is not underbuilt and was therefore used for the new pool. The original very monotonous terrace with wooden decking, lawn in the back and an ashlar wall was transformed into an airy lounge with a wonderful ambience. The original wooden decking of the terrace was replaced and extended in the back area around the new pool. This provides naturalness and interesting contrasts with the crystal clear pool. Wooden cubes soften the atmosphere and provide additional space for sitting, lounging and relaxing. Overhanging maples in green and red at the same height come into their own in the planting area and provide naturalness as well as a discreet division of the terrace. Dark clay planters were planted in fresh green and set accents.
The terrace meets all the requirements of a cozy outdoor living room in three different areas. A spacious dining area with wooden table, armchairs and a lounger cube can be used for cozy get-togethers. The gentle room layout further emphasizes the openness of the spacious terrace. The pool area was supplemented on the existing house wall with a narrow planting strip with fragrant lavender and columnar yews. These bring freshness and additional naturalness to the blue pool. The poolside lounging area is set back and not visible from the dining area. Here the beautiful summer days can be enjoyed in idyllic privacy. A continuing wall was added to the concrete wall in the lounge area behind the pool and faced with natural stone. This creates a wonderful contrast to the wooden floor of the terrace. From the lounge area you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the lake and the entire terrace.
