Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects

A pool surrounded by fragrant flowers

After the garden redesign, this private garden looks like a floating water garden thanks to the infinity pool. From there, the view sweeps over the beautiful green landscape with fruit trees to the lake.

Infinity pool, Living pool, Natural pool, Swimming pool, Garden

This extensive garden borders a green meadow directly on the lake. However, there is no direct lake access. Therefore, the element of water in the garden became the central theme. Since the garden is located above an underground garage, the design of the desired living pool had to be done in height. In doing so, the payload was not to be exceeded. At the same time, the infinity pool was to blend harmoniously with the surroundings.

Raised wooden deck with infinity pool

From the seating area you can enjoy the beautiful view of the well-kept lawn, the newly created plain and the lake. The newly created level has become a design highlight. Not only the dreamlike infinity pool inspires, but also the lounge directly in front of it. With the new loungers and seating, the Living Pool on the wooden deck has been optimally complemented. After a refreshing swim in the in-house infinity pool, customers can either soak up the sun on the lawn or enjoy the shade under the parasol at the lounge.

This water garden stands out with the surrounding sea of flowers, because the planting concept was designed colorful and versatile. The elevated position brings many advantages. On the one hand, it opens up a new view of the green landscape and the lake. On the other hand, the placement of the plants creates various visual relationships that make the garden look open. Through the wood, the fragrant lavender, the maple and the bright blue water develop exciting color contrasts, which have a harmonious effect on the overall picture. The outdoor living room is acoustically accentuated by the splashing of the pool's overflow gutter.

The view into infinity

The infinity pool deceives the eye of the beholder, because the entire elevation looks like a floating water garden. While swimming, the clientele can enjoy an uninterrupted view into the distance to the front, directly in the direction of the green landscape with adjacent lake. This endless effect is achieved with the front overflow edge, which is slightly lower than the pool. So the naturally cleaned water runs over the front pool edge down into the gutter, giving the endless effect. Such an overflow edge can be seen in our show garden - the garden villa in Aathal - can be visited.

The clientele wanted a chlorine-free pool from the very beginning. That is why they chose the Living Pool technology which does not require any chemicals. The water is purified with a filtration system that uses a filter to remove phosphate, which is vital for algae, leaving it purely natural. In addition, it is a sustainable option, since the water does not have to be replaced annually, as with the traditional pool. This not only saves the skin, but also the environment.

Implementation: How the pool was brought into the garden

The prefabricated pool was moved into the garden with a crane. Many thanks to egli jona for the implementation of the project.

Versatile planting concept

The wooden deck was provided with three maples, which are beautifully illuminated at night. At the same time they provide a privacy screen. In addition, many different plants adorn the infinity pool such as lavender or the red coneflower. Thus, the infinity pool not only looks like a floating water garden, but rises from a veritable sea of flowers. Individual plants were planted in exclusive planters. The customers chose the high-quality containers from Atelier Vierkant, which are available from our partner Amadeo Ambiente.

    1. Great, we were able to help you. Yes, moving the pool is usually done with a crane. If the terrain is difficult to access for large-scale transportation and the location of the pool is difficult to reach, a helicopter has also been used.
