Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects

Modern family garden on the lake

The generous lawn of this property seems to merge directly into the lake. The redesign of this garden creates the impression of an enormous expanse and emphasizes the unique view of the lake and the mountain landscape. Only individual stepping stones delicately break through the lawn and serve as a path connection to the wooden deck. The path to the lake is accompanied on the side by a raised sandstone wall. The curved wall conceals the difference in height to the neighboring property.

The path to the lake access by stepping plates in the lawn

The planting creates a harmonious image and conceals the high wall in the background. The umbrella-shaped woody plants provide a loose image full of naturalness. From the wooden deck you can enjoy undisturbed the fantastic view of the lake or the view back to the house.

Harmonious width

This dream garden is already an absolute highlight because of the fantastic view. This view should remain the focus after the redesign. A harmonious and loose design with umbrella-shaped copses opens the garden and allows an unobstructed view of the lake when entering. Directly on the water, the wooden deck was placed one step lower than the lawn. Thus, here too, the view is not disturbed by anything and at the same time a fine spatial division is created. Some seating steps lead down from the wooden deck to a small boat or floating dock.

Quiet retreat niche

Around the house was also laid a generous wooden deck. The elevation of the wooden deck serves as a fine division in the garden and gently separates the area from the lawn. The conversion of the house created a side alcove, which was transformed into a gravel garden with a roof plane tree. The retreat serves as a cozy shady spot on hot summer days to quickly forget the stress of everyday life. Especially the tree bench under the plane tree invites to linger. Fruit trees and berry bushes in this area provide small snacks in between. The redesign has created an idyllic place with a small kitchen garden.

Neighbor Garden

Gravel yard on the shore of the lake belongs to the second party of the two-family house. See this reference under "Natural garden on the lake".
