Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects
The client wanted a pool for the whole family and a low-maintenance garden. The previously uneven and partially sloped lawn and two small seating areas have been transformed into an atmospheric family garden with a naturally cleared pool. For a smoother sequence of spaces, the lawn and the slope were divided into different levels. Instead of the lawn, low-maintenance coverings of stone and wood form a harmonious and natural overall picture. The already existing seating area at the lower part of the house was enlarged and offers the family a cozy lounge area. The gazebo in front is concealed by three beautiful espalier trees. The varied and low-maintenance underplanting further loosens up the atmosphere. A light planting of ornamental grasses and evergreens provides an airy atmosphere.
The center of the garden is the naturally cleaned pool, which invites you to swim and enjoy. The wooden pool surround provides a pleasant waterfront seating area where you can gaze out over the expanse of water. Three steps, surrounded by two pedestals with solitary vessels and attractive planting, lead up to the pool level made of wood. The natural material provides a warm flair and at the same time offers a practical storage space for the pool equipment. The end of this level is formed by a generous wooden seating and sunbathing area, which is ideally suited for cozy hours by the water.
Slightly above the pool - accessible via three more steps - is a cozy lounge level. From this seating area one can enjoy the uninterrupted view of the water and the garden as well as the view of the surrounding area. The natural stone wall behind the lounge supports the grounds beyond. A calm and flowing planting of ornamental grasses perfectly conceals the slope and provides softness.
