Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects

Family garden with natural flair

Natural coziness

The family garden on two levels provides a natural habitat for native insects and birds and also provides space to linger. The client wanted a garden that could be used in a variety of ways. The newly created gravel seating area on the upper level offers natural contours and blends harmoniously with the surroundings. A natural stone wall increases privacy and also serves as a surface for decorations, containers and lanterns. A single-sided pergola, which will be canopied from behind over time, provides airy shade and adds coziness. A low seating wall in the back frames an existing tree. The stone wall is softened by flowering perennials, herbs and grasses. Stepping stones and thyme pads in the gravel provide additional naturalness. A special eye-catching feature is a shallow, elongated water basin with a spout, which provides a habitat for newts due to the low water level and coarse stones.

Versatile garden areas

The lower garden level offers a usable area for the whole family with a lawn and children's playground equipment. A small seating area and an additional kitchen garden combine the cozy with the practical. A raised bed made of natural stone conceals the concrete wall behind it. In addition, the raised bed provides extra space for vegetables, herbs and vines. A lush flower meadow, from which one looks into the mountains and down into the village, gives the feeling of being in a colorful mountain meadow. After mowing, the flower meadow can also be used for ball games. Hidden in the flower meadow is a small gravel area surrounded by shrubs and rock pines that provide pleasant shade.
