Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects

A family garden with pool, lawn and sunbathing area

Cozy niche on the water

The owner of this grand and modern house with wooden cladding wanted to have his own pool in the single-family garden. The previously monotonous garden with a lawn around the house was redesigned and enhanced by a pool with concrete surround. Thanks to retaining walls, the pool could be built on the outermost edge of the garden, making optimal use of the garden's space.

The previously unused canopy, which picks up the material of the house facade through the new wooden deck, forms a recreational area directly on the water. Dark steel troughs with evergreen planting serve as privacy screens and at the same time as fall protection on the newly created area. A generous bench for sitting and lounging can be used as storage space and, together with the deliberately chosen furniture, at the same time as a secluded spot by the water.

A previously well visible wooden terrace on the side of the house was equipped with a wall along the border as a privacy screen. The trellis trees in front of it as well as a solitaire pot on the terrace provide a special eye-catcher and additional privacy. The lawn and the overall picture are further softened by borders around the house.

Harmonious entrance

On the other side of the garden, where a trampoline sunk into the ground invites visitors to jump, a wooden wall serves as a privacy screen. A small kitchen garden has given way to a gravel area with a bench. This area also provides access to the garden, which is surrounded by ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, and solitary trees full of character. A multi-stemmed birch in the entrance area rises up through the canopy and, with its loose crown, creates a light overall appearance. The selected ornamental grasses emphasize this image and make the entrance area and the garage forecourt homely, bright and soft. Character trees, ornamental grasses and hydrangeas on the side of the entrance create a great sight when coming home.
