Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects
It hums and lives: the entrance to this apartment building captivates with its playful and lush planting. Between lavender, rose bushes and various grasses is the path to the house entrance. Surrounded by a wide variety of plants, the family's bathing oasis opens up on the opposite side.
This new construction is flattered by playful planting that frames the property and accompanies guests between colorful flowers to the entrance. Since several parties live in the house, the environment was designed so that the path to the common entrance is clearly distinguished from the access to the private garden of one party. The aforementioned access to the garden was thus deliberately relegated to the background. Unintentional detours through the private garden are thus avoided without the need to visually incorporate strict demarcations.
Whether through the main entrance or the somewhat hidden path across the lawn: Opposite the main entrance is the generous garden of the builder. A natural stone wall borders the path to the pool. Behind the natural stone wall, three impressive solitary trees were planted. These were placed so that from the living room the view to the outside wanders through the branches. The interior seems to merge with the exterior space. The center of the garden is the pool, which magically attracts with its turquoise water.
Thanks to the new swimming pool, a private bathing oasis has been created. The slightly elevated placement of the pool creates another level, which cleverly structures the garden and is crucial for an interesting overall picture. The homely ambience is provided by the equipped wooden deck with umbrellas and deck chairs, as well as the planting islands with specimen trees. For the open-air interior design, the solitary trees provide the desired privacy screen. Here again, a natural stone wall can be discovered, which conjures up a picturesque background behind the wooden deck through the diverse planting.
Since the owner likes to receive friends and family, visitor parking spaces were included in the exterior design. These are also surrounded by flowering shrubs. These planting strips continue to the upper walkway, to a lavender and rose bed that attracts bees and butterflies. The purple color is picked up again and again throughout the garden and provides the lively flair especially in early summer.
In late summer, the grasses take over the supporting role and create a new atmosphere. Here, where there is now a lush planting strip with three specimen trees, there was previously an embankment. The new natural stone walls level this slope and provide another horizontal plane. At the same time, the natural stone walls additionally highlight the trees growing in them, which also serve as privacy screens.
The perfect connection between indoors and outdoors is created by a pergola. Under the slatted roof is the lounge and dining area with a built-in fireplace. The chosen textiles as well as the decorative items lovingly selected by the client transform this covered space into a veritable outdoor living room. The masonry elements around the pergola create the desired sense of space. The trees as well as the planting strips are also present in the lounge area and exude lightness and naturalness.
The selected mixed planting conceals the existing boundary walls on the one hand, but also provides color, privacy and space creation. In addition to the many grasses and flowering shrubs, the selected trees play a central role in creating space.
