Finished gardens & terraces - Our reference projects

A seating area surrounded by natural stone

In this garden seating area aesthetics and utility is particularly successful. Where before there was an uneven lawn, now there is a spacious and elegant seating area, which immediately increases the area of the garden many times. The platform and the natural stone wall have created new heights, which give the garden additional space. This is also achieved by the material mix of wood and stone, which makes the seating area the center of the garden. From the seating area, the view sweeps across the garden and out into the distance.

The breathtaking backdrop with the Alps remains undisturbed and makes the place the highlight of the garden. Deeper walls were also planned as a break and also serve as a place to sit or lie down. If it does get too hot on the seating area, there is a cozy spot next door under the existing and overgrown pergola.

The slope was extended by angle elements, so that the lawn area can also be further enlarged. Where previously a lush hedge blocked the view and robbed a lot of space, there is now a playful and elegant planting strip. It is precisely this planting that should be given a lot of attention. It gives the garden that certain something and adds liveliness. The mixture of different grasses, perennials and deciduous shrubs perfectly match the already existing elements in the garden.

Details of the natural stone wall:

The garden before the transformation

The embankment by the house was excavated and supplemented by the natural stone wall. The space gained by this is enormous. In addition, the natural stone wall creates a beautiful contrast to the house, which is softened by the planting strip. Thus, the view to the house is also coherent and inviting.
