Between far-reaching views and privacy: time simply runs a little slower here. This redesigned garden with pool and fountain is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain backdrop.
This breathtaking garden is surrounded by impressive mountains. The conversion of the home was carried out together with the garden redesign, resulting in a harmonious overall concept like no other. The existing house was supplemented with an extension on the left and a further, separate living area in the garden. The garden is at the center of the living spaces. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide an uninterrupted view of the garden. A unique connection between indoors and outdoors ensures a connection between nature and architecture.
Before - After: Changes to the garden
A modern garden design in connection with nature
The design, the chosen planting and the covered seating area on the opposite side of the house provide privacy and a secure atmosphere. The garden almost feels like a park right outside the front door. With your eyes closed, the garden is a true paradise. Far away from the streets, birds chirp and a gentle breeze blows through your hair and over the surface of the pool. A gentle splashing can be heard from the fountain. If you open your eyes, your gaze wanders through the garden, where the grasses and trees are slowly set in motion by the breeze. Behind the house, an impressive mountain backdrop opens up, making the location of this garden very special.
Water magic - fountain and pool in the garden
The pool and fountain surround the garden with water. The sky is reflected on the surface of the pool and the fountain casts an extraordinary play of light on the maple next to it. In addition to the visual effect, the element of water creates magical acoustics. With an open window in the house or at the built-in fire pit by the pergola: water as the essence of life lends the garden an unmistakable atmosphere and simply makes time run a little slower.
Planting concept of the garden
The trees in the garden are deliberately placed as individual eye-catchers. The fine structure of the trunks lends the garden a certain lightness. The grasses create gentle transitions between different areas. The wind moves like waves through the sea of grasses, which makes its grand entrance in the fall. The large lawn in the middle opens up the garden and ensures that the view of the mountain backdrop can be enjoyed undisturbed. The individual planters between the grasses next to the fountain create a dark color contrast and add another level to the garden. The three planters in front of the pool are also eye-catchers and contribute to the design of the space. They break up the straight lines and the large garden area with a certain elegance.
