Swimming pool with panorama

Classic swimming pool integrated into the design

The existing swimming pool with surface skimmer was embedded in the new landscaping. The evergreen boxwood cubes form a delicate border between the pool and lawn. The stone fountain with an embedded gargoyle at the end of the pool is a particular eye-catcher. The fountain is located on a simple gravelled area and shares the attention with a Japanese maple. In this arrangement, the two elements create a harmonious ambience. The anthracite-coloured columns are connected by wires and serve as climbing support for the climbing plants.

A covered terrace with a view

The covered terrace by the house was built to complement this garden and the views from it are breathtaking. The lawn and swimming pool set against a unique mountain backdrop make this garden a real gem away from the village centre. At this altitude, there is no need for a privacy screen; only an evergreen band of boxwood in the foreground serves as a gentle boundary. Grasses, perennials and individual, columnar shrubs create interesting accents throughout the garden. There are parking spaces above the terrace, so the extension can be used both as a parking area above and as a sheltered retreat below.
