Private garden with natural pool

Clear and cosy

More space was to be created in the previously cramped garden. The client wanted an open outdoor area with a natural pool for natural bathing fun. With the Living Pool technology a water paradise without chlorine or a planted regeneration zone has been created here. By shoring up the slope to save space, it was possible to create more space on the garden level. A chimney that was hardly used and a green pergola were removed, creating additional space and air for the new garden. A natural pool in the garden house area invites you to bathe and swim. The proximity to the covered seating area creates an unrivalled pool house feeling. From the cosy seating area, you can see the two gargoyles by the pool, which create a playful atmosphere. The natural element of water is further emphasised by the wooden pool surround. Stone slabs with brownish inclusions create a warm yet lively ambience.

Relaxing retreat

Between the covered seating area by the pool and a cosy lounging area in a secluded alcove, you can access the house via a brick staircase with a landing at the side. The practical garden shower is also embedded in this structure and is hardly noticeable. The natural stone walls create interesting accents in the garden.

The densely planted retaining wall in front of the living room window was deliberately retained. It offers a beautiful view to the outside and blends in perfectly with the garden area in front of it. In this area, a gravelled surface with natural stone steps adds a lively touch. The simple seating area with two armchairs, framed by fragrant lavender, overlooks the entire garden with its natural pool and green lawn. The garden is bordered by an evergreen hedge along the metre, which provides a beautiful privacy screen. The space-saving hedge is supported by a climbing structure. Umbrella-shaped shrubs with flowery underplanting soften the border and attract attention.

The deliberately simple planting has created a low-maintenance garden that nevertheless allows beautiful combinations to be created all year round thanks to the choice of plants. The calm garden design with few elements makes the garden appear much larger and invites you to spend relaxing hours.
