Swimming fun in green surroundings

The owner of the detached house wanted a pool in the garden and a variety of plants. The result is a natural garden with a living pool at the centre of the green oasis. The naturally cleaned pool offers bathing fun and its blue colour creates a harmonious contrast to the rest of the surroundings. Two water spouts by the swimming pool provide a gentle and calming ripple.

The Wooden pool surround frames the pool and emphasises the ambience of the garden with its natural material. At the same time, the large wooden deck is ideal for sunbathing and lingering by the water. An existing magnolia tree at the end of the wooden deck has been preserved and provides pleasant shade, while a cosy area with table and chairs is covered by a parasol. Behind the wooden deck, the dining area with existing canopy offers space for cosy hours with a view of the natural pool and the rest of the garden.

For the desired Privacy The existing walls, which enclose the garden and are broken up by lush planting, provide a cosy seating area. On particularly hot summer days, there is a cosy seating area in the corner of the garden: Natural stone steps lead across the lawn to the shady spot, where you can also keep an eye on the entire garden.

Natural planting — a home for insects

Proximity to nature is particularly important to the client. The Versatile planting of woody and berry shrubs, fruit trees and flowering perennials further emphasises the naturalness of the garden. Flowering perennials provide subtle accents throughout the bathing season and harmonise perfectly with the rest of the planting of grasses and shrubs.

At the same time, the native plants bees and butterflies, thereby supporting our ecosystem. There is a flower meadow on the side of the garden, which was planted at the client’s request. not mown until mid-summer and thus becomes a habitat for numerous insects. A rose bed in the middle of the lawn breaks up the meadow and provides a colourful eye-catcher, while the lush rose bushes by the seating area by the house create a veritable firework display of flowers in the summer months.
