A family garden with living pool

This family garden can be accessed via two different entrances. Regardless of which side you enter from, the garden immediately casts a spell over you. The large area is transformed into an open-air space thanks to the skilful layout. At the centre of the garden is clearly the naturally purified Living Pool, which is framed by the wall and a modern wooden deck.

It was important to the family to create a mixture of clean lines and an intricate garden. The outdoor living space was to become a meeting place for family and friends. The children should be able to let off steam in the garden, which is why generous lawn areas were also planned. The swimming pool, trampoline and climbing dome make the garden a highlight for the kids. But peace and quiet is also provided for: various retreat areas such as a lounge by the pool and by the house offer enough space for chatting or reading. The lighter furniture can simply be placed wherever you feel like relaxing.

Access and spectacular delivery of the pool basin

The realisation of the garden was not easy due to the location of the plot. „The slope posed a challenge in terms of statics and construction, as the access road did not allow all machines to be used. Thanks to our large fleet of machinery, we were able to ensure an ideal realisation,“ says Daniel Egli from egli jona ag.

As it was not possible to access the garden by lorry, the prefabricated pool was delivered by helicopter. The pool was placed at the foot of the hill, where the HELISWISS was ready. After the helicopter took off, the pool was attached and flown directly into the garden. The pool was slowly brought into position above the prepared excavation. Using the attached ropes, the team on the ground was able to turn the pool into the correct position before it was finally placed.

The family garden before and after the remodelling

Where there was previously a steep slope and wild bushes that prevented the area from being used, there is now an open area with a living pool. The lawn still offers the children plenty of space to play. The retaining wall behind the pool has significantly enlarged the garden.
