House by the lake

The spacious lawn of this property seems to flow directly into the lake. The redesign of this garden creates the impression of an enormous expanse and emphasises the unique view of the lake and the mountain landscape. Only individual stepping stones delicately break through the lawn and serve as a link to the wooden deck. The path to the lake is flanked by a raised sandstone wall. The curved wall conceals the difference in height to the neighbouring property.

The path to the lake access through stepping stones in the lawn

The planting creates a harmonious look and conceals the high wall in the background. The umbrella-shaped shrubs create a relaxed, natural look. From the wooden deck, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the lake or the view back to the house undisturbed.

Foresight in the garden

This dream garden is already an absolute highlight because of the fantastic view. This view should continue to take centre stage after the redesign. A harmonious and relaxed design with umbrella-shaped shrubs opens up the garden and provides an unobstructed view of the lake as you enter. Directly on the water, the wooden deck was placed one step lower than the lawn. This means that nothing disturbs the view and at the same time creates a subtle spatial division. A few steps lead down from the wooden deck to a small jetty.

Quiet retreat with wooden deck

A spacious wooden deck has also been laid around the house. The raised wooden deck serves as a fine division in the garden and gently separates the area from the lawn. The remodelling of the house created an alcove at the side, which was transformed into a gravel garden with a roof plane. On hot summer days, this retreat serves as a cosy shady spot to quickly forget the stress of everyday life. The tree bench under the plane tree is particularly inviting. Fruit trees and berry bushes in this area provide small snacks between meals. The remodelling has created an idyllic spot with a small kitchen garden.

Neighbouring garden

The gravelled area on the shore of the lake belongs to the second party of the semi-detached house. View this reference under „Natural garden by the lake“ to.
