An easy-care terrace with green privacy screen

Harmonious and easy to care for

The client wanted a simple and low-maintenance terrace as a place of retreat. High above the rooftops, a cosy oasis of well-being has been created for harmonious hours. Despite the artificial materials of faux wood and artificial turf, the terrace looks like a small garden. The small gravel areas, on which all the planters are placed, provide additional naturalness. Evergreen shrubs and specimen plants in attractive planters obscure the view of unwanted buildings and roof surfaces in the neighbourhood without being intrusive. Plants of different heights also liven up the atmosphere: Somewhat lower conifers are joined by taller evergreen deciduous shrubs.

Accents and cosiness in the dark

The lighting of the plants also creates a great picture at dusk and in the dark and sets interesting accents. While large lanterns further emphasise the play of light, a cosy lounge forms the centrepiece of the terrace. Surrounded by simple fabric curtains on the eaves, cosy hours can be enjoyed here. On the side terrace areas, individual planters with Japanese maples create eye-catchers in front of the respective room windows. In this area, a seating area consisting of wooden armchairs and a small table provides another cosy place to linger.

Matching garden lights

These high-quality copper and brass lamps are handmade. They are suitable for both indoors and outdoors. The selected material is weather-resistant and the elevated position of the light source means it can also rain or snow.

These handmade lamps create a warm atmosphere in the garden or on the patio. The lamps look particularly good in a combination of different sizes.
