A living garden in autumn

A garden on different levels

This living garden of a newly built detached house offers its owners harmonious hours in different places and impresses with its calm choice of materials. The living and dining area is located on the upper floor of the house, from where you can enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside and mountains. On this level, a cosy seating area invites you to enjoy a barbecue. High-quality natural stone slabs create an elegant and simple ambience, while an attractive solitary tree forms a special eye-catcher in the garden.

Surrounded by a natural stone seating wall, the ironwood tree stands out from the rest of the seating area and acts as a magical centre of attraction on the upper level. The covered seating area with a modern pergola, which creates a beautiful interplay of light and shade, is surrounded by a higher natural stone wall. From here you can look out over the rest of the garden and enjoy cosy hours in a peaceful atmosphere.

Seating area in harmonious privacy

On the lower level, a spacious lawn emphasises the size of the garden. Surrounded by pretty rock pears planted with airy grasses, you can enjoy undisturbed privacy here. A particular highlight in this area of the garden is the timeless natural stone façade with the seating area below. A bed on the façade provides space for a small herb and fruit garden. The high-quality natural stone continues here and blends in perfectly with the unique architecture of the house. This seating area is also bordered by a slightly less high natural stone wall. The surrounding evergreen yew hedge creates a wonderful screen and increases privacy.

Inviting entrance area

The calm and harmonious choice of materials begins in the entrance area of this residential garden. The large forecourt with garage and sheltered house entrance is bordered at the sides by selected specimen trees and an airy band of grasses with flowering shrubs. The specimen trees have an atmospheric autumn colouring and are pretty eye-catchers that radiate a warm ambience when you come home. The evergreen, low-maintenance hedge skilfully conceals the container space. It continues onto the other levels and naturally delimits the entire garden.
