In this project, an existing outdoor area was transformed into a harmonious oasis of well-being that combines relaxation, the experience of nature and modern design. A high-quality living pool forms the centrepiece of the design, transforming the garden into an exclusive open-air living room.
Natural bathing - the Living Pool as the centrepiece
The new room layout is noticeable as soon as you enter the garden. Straight-lined steps lead gently from the terrace to the pool area and create a flowing connection between the house and garden. The anthracite-coloured pool body accentuates the colour of the water and gives the pool an elegant, timeless look.
The special thing about this Living Pool is its water treatment: thanks to modern biological filter technology, the water remains permanently clear - without any conventional chemical additives. This completely eliminates the typical chlorine odour. The water feels pleasantly soft, is particularly kind to the skin and provides a natural bathing experience that enables relaxation at the highest level.
A spacious staircase leads bathers comfortably into the water. The pool is ideal for a quick dip on warm days as well as for long, relaxing dips.
Comfort and technology perfectly combined
In addition to the sustainable water quality, the Living Pool impresses with its versatile equipment. An integrated counter-current system enables personalised swimming training directly in your own garden. It is controlled digitally so that intensity and utilisation can be adjusted at any time - from leisurely gliding to a sporty training session.
Additional massage jets transform the pool into a personal relaxation zone if desired. Gentle water movements loosen tense muscles and promote regeneration after a long day at work. An integrated pool heater also significantly extends the bathing season and ensures pleasant water temperatures even on cooler days. The result is a place that combines exercise and relaxation in equal measure.
Sauna experience with a view of the countryside
Directly adjacent to the pool area, a garden sauna completes the wellness concept. Accessible via a warm wooden deck, the sauna house blends harmoniously into the surroundings and forms a quiet retreat at the edge of the garden.
Inside, the natural wood panelling creates a cosy atmosphere. While the cosy warmth spreads, the view outside opens up to the Living Pool and the surrounding garden landscape. This visual connection between water, nature and architecture reinforces the feeling of slowing down and turns the stay into a holistic relaxation experience.
Meeting place in the open air
In addition to the wellness areas, space was also deliberately created for communal moments. A gravelled area with an integrated barbecue area was created on a slightly raised level - a meeting place for family and friends. The natural surface gives the area a relaxed, informal atmosphere, while a curved natural stone wall creates structure and offers additional seating.
From here, a wide view opens up over the entire garden. The wooden deck around the Living Pool connects the individual areas, while carefully selected plants such as magnificent candles and verbena provide lively colour accents. Spacious lawns offer space for play, exercise and relaxation.
